R4 Capital is a company focused on assisting entrepreneurs with start-up and growth capital for new and existing enterprises. In addition we offer business development consuliting in partnership with several highly skilled consulting firms. All inquiries are welcome and will be evaluated for potential partnerships and capital placements.
R4 Capital also has an investment division - R4 Land - focused on waterfront and recreation land development.
R4 Capital's founder is Richard Randolph, an accomplished entrepreneur who has built four successful business in different industries. In the early 1990's, he assisted California based Gravity Works distribute worldwide it's patented amusement rides, and also operate rides at nearly all of the top 100 US Fairs and Events. After selling the business in 1998, Richard joined the senior management team of Airshares Elite (ASE) in Atlanta, GA. ASE is the Aviation Industry's first owner-flown aircraft fractional ownership program - now with more than 50 new Cirrus SR22 aircraft and more than 250 clients. In 2001, R4, Inc. joined several Birmingham investors in purchasing Christianity.com, a D.C. based technology service provider to Christian organizations. R4 developed the business in concert with the senior management team. In February of 2005 Christianity.com sold it's Portal Division to Salem Communications, a publicly traded media conglomerate. (NASDAQ: SALM) The management team spun off it's Services Division and re-named it Silas Partners. In 2006, Rich joined with Shannon-Waltchack Investment Real Estate as a partner in developing Hidden Falls at Smith Lake, a 90 lot waterfront development. Other land investments followed and are found in the R4 Land section of this website. R4 Capital. currently has a number of potential deals in the works and is always considering new and interesting opportunities.
Richard has led a number of civic efforts in Birmingham beginning with working Student Stampede, deacon at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Board of Directors of The Kings Ranch and Hannah Homes. He founded the Crestline Men's Bible Study and received the 2004 Top 40 under 40 Award from the Birmingham Business Journal. He is also a member of the Newcomen Society and is listed in the United States Social Register. Richard enjoys flying as a hobby and is an 1200 hour Instrument rated pilot who has owned four different aircraft. He lives with his wife and four children in Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, AL. |
